I'm all about capturing and treasuring everyday, ordinary moments and highlighting the beauty within them.
about me
I'm misty
Faith. Family. Photography. Coffee. Honestly, it might be coffee and then photography. My family has learned that it's important to let me have my morning quiet and 1/2 caf before entering into any serious conversations like "good morning."
I am inspired by the courage that it takes to truly know one's self. I find such joy in my clients seeing themselves as beautiful beings when they receive their images. There is no greater compliment than "you've captured our personalities so well." The most treasured images in our own home are photos that highlight the unique individuals who make up our family.
I am intentional about my time and the people with whom I spend it. Read on for a little more about me.
I cannot get enough of people and their stories. I am Enneagram 3 who still chooses people over tasks. I love natural light and catching in the most beautiful ways.

my guy
I can't imagine life without my husband. We spent the first twenty-two years as a military family and are now loving that partial-retirement life.

my babies
My people. I love my people. Our babies are now all adults and it's amazing! I have treasured pieces of every stage of parenting. This one is just as sweet.

When we became grandparents, it was a two at once kinda gift.

places
A lake, the ocean, anywhere I can safely play in the water. I love being on a paddle board and let me tell you -- the ocean and a lake are a much different experience.

I grew up in north central North Dakota and will always appreciate wide open fields and rivers -- places where I feel free.
